Where Galle Turns to Gold
Galle is Gold (GiG) is a signature musical show that celebrates the rhythm, energy, and golden spirit of Galle.
Organised by the Old Boys' Association of Mahinda College (OBA) together with its youth arm, the Junior Old Boys' Association of Mahinda College (JOBA), GiG brings generations together through music, culture, and shared pride.
The Golds: A Legacy Since 1892
Founded in 1892, Mahinda College has produced leaders, artists, and change-makers who carry the values of brotherhood, excellence, and service. Through GiG, the OBA and Junior OBA combine experience and youthful creativity to deliver a world-class musical experience while strengthening bonds within the Mahindian community and beyond.
